La Boîte Spices - Inspired by his passion for spices and the stories they tell, Lior Lev Secarz began his own journey studying spices and their origins, eventually creating his own blends. Available in 1 lb and 1/2 lb containers.
Piment d’Argile - This pepper is cultivated in the clay soils of Howick without the use of machinery. The fruit is harvested by odor rather than color and is air-dried (rather than sun-dried), allowing it to keep much of its humidity. Dried on an unevenly spaced surface, the spice keeps a diversity of textures. The boreal micro-climate of the farm results in a score of five on the Scoville scale, a measure of its spiciness. The peppers have uncommon aromas of smoke and have a sweet finale. Available in 50 g jars.
